Extortionate Call Charges Abroad

I have just got my Orange bill from when I went to the French Grand Prix in July.

While there, I decided to use Orange France, as I thought it would be the cheapest to use. :)

:shock: How shocked I was that it had cost so much money. I should have checked the costs before I went I suppose.

It's 70p per min to call the UK and Orange charge you by the minute. When I was in the US, I thought that per min charging was just something the Americans did.

So short calls, and calls that didn't connect ('cos no one answered) cost me 70p each. And incoming calls that I decided not to answer cost me 30p each.

What a con! :evil:

I've been using roaming GPRS in Spain this month, i get my bill tomorrow and i'm very scared... :/
