Guest dbiallos Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 I have noticed the following, in trying to resolve my "phantom alarm" problem... 1. I rename "mxip_initdb.vol" to "mxip_initdb.vol2" and reboot 2. Upon reboot, a new "mxip_initdb.vol" has been created and all my contacts and calendar items are gone. 3. I sync with Outlook and instead of the contacts in Outlook being copied to the new "mxip_initdb.vol" file on my SPV, it deletes all my contacts in Outlook? Question is... where can I set the option that during syncing, Outlook overrides the SPV (not the other way around like it is at the moment??)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 In Activsync have a look in ToolsOptionsRules You can then change the Conflict Resolution settings.
