Help with Cingular USA

Hi

Does anyone out there have any experience in setting up the Smartphone with Cingular USA service? I can send and receive calls and txt messages but have not been able to setup my Internet Explorer. Cingular has been clueless so far.

Please help if you can.

I you have the top centre G displayed on your phone then try out these settings and let us know if you have any problems.

Create new proxy connection

Create new GPRS connection.

Create new GPRS connection.

Connects to: The Internet (or try directly to WAP Network)

Create new Dial Up WAP Connection (Phone Number 14152441012)

In data connections:

Internet connection: Cingular WEB

WAP connection: Cingular WAP

In Internet Explorer

goto connections and tick 'Automatically detect settings'

Cingular WAP homepage: wsp://device.home (or http://device.home)

Or try a WAP site wsp://www.google.com/wml

If WAP does not work then try these changes

I don't think there is any Cingular MMS at this time.
