how to delete files in the windows subdirectory

have you guys tried to delete some files in the windows subdirectory?please help!

i installed the iacaller cab file. my phone hanged and i sooo wanted to delete the files that were installed in the subdir.

i appreciate any help that you will give.

in the IPSM/windows dir?

files in the windows directory are ROM (read only memory) therefore your program wouldent have been able to put any files into this folder.

the folder IPSM/windows is not ROM but i wouldent recomend deleteing files from this folder if you dont know what your doing.

if you go to the second page of settings there is an option for removeing programs ----use this.

I have been wondering about this as well. There are a lot of image files in there (for things like ordering pizza's in geneva) that i would like to get rid of but for can't because they are read only.

Is there any way of changing their settings?

I also wanted to change the color schemes to some of the warning symbols (obviously keeping an original copy :) ) but i can't even do that because even though the folders on my pc are set to show all, when i copy them over they just disappear. Wierd! Anyone shed any light on this?

No as mentioned above the images are part of the rom, they can be

deleted ect but on a restart the Windows folder gets re-written.

You can change the warning symbols, just click on the word Tweaks to

take you to the post by midnight for more information.
