The children's show with the Blue Dog...My son was in tears (me too) when he left the show to go to "university". Steve Burns, the original character now has a band and his album is coming out next week. The album is Songs for Dustmites and it's REALLY good. Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 In the UK we have an English presenter called Kevin presenting Blue's Clues The presenter is probably down to the country it's being shown in, but yes my daughter loves it as well :) As for the song it sounds good but I only listened to it on crappy laptop speakers :o
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 WOW, I didn't know they had different character's in each country. So you missed the whole cultural phenomenon here. Steve, gained a cult following by kids and adults here in the US. When he decided to leave the show after 6 years, or something like that, the had a contest to find the next one....his supposed cousin, Joe. On the show, they built up a transition where Steve was going to College. The final episode was heart-wrenching. (But I didn't cry!). Rumors followed Steve for a while that he was dead of Aids, cancer, was hit by a bus.... Now he's popped-up as a singer....totally opposite of what he was on the show. So this is kind of a big deal here....well, at least to me. :)

I've put alot of work into making it as boring as possible. :) Seriously...I have no idea what to do with my webspace yet. I'm trying to figure that out and test some things along the way.
