Guest cmolyneux Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 i think three will have those clips locked down to there 3G phones only. I thought as much ... would be nice tho ... one of the few things that nearly made me go for three rather than my e100 ...
Guest Brody Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 Have both! £10 for an NEC 808 with a contract that has no line rental ever!! http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=88613
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 The video clips downloadable over the 3 network are subject to copyright, and as such illegal to distribute. So anybody caught spreading them on MoDaCo will have the posts removed and be issued a warning ;p
Guest cmolyneux Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 The video clips downloadable over the 3 network are subject to copyright, and as such illegal to distribute. Shame ... Maybe we can talk the pockettv guys into providing a simliar service :)
Guest Gorskar Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 But PocketTV will only give freely available clips I imagine. 3 have no doubt paid a sizable chunk of money to secure those clips, and unless you expect PocketTV to magic up some similar sum of money I think its going to be unlikely.
Guest ziggys101 Posted August 12, 2003 Report Posted August 12, 2003 I've got a e606 as well, the clips are mp4 and once transfered to your PC can be viewed using quicktime.
