Guest Exhaloprez Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 I do not know what happened but when I now go to Settings-Accessories there is no mms set up. How do I reinstall it? Also, can I send pictures via mms with T-Mobile? Thanks so much.
Guest martin Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 When you go to MMS setup, does the settings page actually load up? If so, try pressing right/left on first field to change to change the connection names. If you find the one you want, then press OK See GPRS settings page2 to confirm T-mobile MMS setup.
Guest Exhaloprez Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 The problem is that there is no mms set up. Not in accessories or any place else.
Guest squall Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 The problem is that there is no mms set up. Not in accessories or any place else. yeah there is. if you desperatly want it you could hard reset... not sure or any other way, unless you deleted the shortcut or something like that.
Guest martin Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Are you using software supplied by a network provider ? It sound like the phone may need the notorious hard reset  I haven't heard of anyone actually losing the MMS setup program before so I assume its become corrupted.
Guest martin Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 Good idea Ian Try creating a shortcut to windowszEzMmsCpl.exe and pasting it to IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories.
Guest Exhaloprez Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 The Hard Reset did not bring it back. How do I create the shortcut...what steps do I take? I set up the MMS as another GPRS connection but there is no MMS set up in accressories or any place else to enter the port etc.
Guest Mr Moose Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Hello, I have the same problem, it happend after a hard reset. I've had an idea, I think that the shortcut may have disapeared from the startup folder. This means that the mms client does not load up. Which explains why the mms option has disapeared from the inbox and the accessories folder. So we need to put the shortcut back in.
Guest Mr Moose Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Ok Ive given up trying to find the mms client, can anyone do me a favour and have a look in their startup folder? Thats if my hunch is right that is  :D :(
Guest Mr Moose Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Wehay Cracked it! My hunch was wrong, allyou have to do is re-install the MMS client from your MPX200 cd! Dont forget to install the galery program as well or you wont be able to send photos with your messages.
