:arrow: Backup MMS / SMS to PC in video format (.avi, .mpg, .wmv) or burn to cd/dvd for hard copy/archive 8)

Eto ang sitwasyon:

May mga mms ka sa smartphone mo. Mga padala ng girlfrnd mo, ng frnds mo, ng mga loved ones mo. Kumpleto, merong animated gifs, merong sound and of kors yung sweet text messages. :) :o :P ... Then one day, for unknown reasons, biglang nagloko spv mo!!! :lol: Nung pagreset mo, bumalik sa factory default ung phone. :evil: Nawala yung paborito mong skin na gawa ni master, bumagal yung pag access mo ng menus, nagkandawala wala mga shortcuts, na reset ang pockettv so mag register ka na naman uli, nawala yung mga lists dun sa Remove Programs....in other words kelangan mo mag hardreset para gumanda uli takbo...so therefore LAHAT ng sms and mms messages mo, mabubura din. :lol: :lol: :lol: Pano na yan? Ang ganda pa naman ng mga msgs ng gf mo sa sms and sa mms nya? Mabubura lahat yun unless di ka mag hard reset. Whatta f - - k! :evil: :evil: :evil:

:idea: Why not save/archive the entire mms look, complete with the senders name, the subject, the file size and cyempre the msg itself (grafix, text and sound) to your pc?

Ang aking solusyon:

Backup mo mms to .avi format! Kelangan mo ng mga programs na to:

1. CamStudio - d2 http://www.rendersoftware.com/products/camstudio/

You can use CamStudio to

· demonstrate features of a new software

· create movies used in user trainings

· track the progress of a program that executes for a long time

· record the sequence of steps that cause the occurrence of bugs in faulty software

· record a movie stream

2. Remote Display for WinCE- do a search, meron post about Remote Display dito sa modaco

3. Burning programs- like Nero, then pag interconvert mo sa ibang video format like .mpg or .wmv, kelangan mo ng program gaya ng Vegas.

Cyempre kelangan mo PC/laptop with dvd/cd writer and pag gusto mong magpa impress sa gf mo, burn mo yung avi sa cd/dvd tapos regalo mo sa kanya on your golden aniversary. :(

sayang ngayon mo lang sinabi to....I was thinking of saving my MMS messages before I upgraded to Qtek ROM so I can put it back to my phone after the upgrade kaya lang di ko alam papano :)

EDIT: saw the sample video...nice! But I thought you can sync the MMS back to the phone after Hard Reset? It will be in video format na pala so hindi na pwedeng ibalik?

tnx !!! ...di na pwede ibalik sa format ng mms dino kc naka .avi format na. :P Well, you can save the backuped video file sa SD for viewing sa pockettv/win media player. :)

Mga mms ko erase ko din after video backup to save ipsm space. :wink:

i did a hard reset before but i manage to save my sms msgs by copying *.vol to my pc and restoring them back after hard reset.

A post I've read from customization section, a registry tweak that will change the default directory on where sms/email/contacts(?)/calendar(?) db files are being read/written:

Can now point to storage card so if your IPSM is deleted, you can always recover these files.

I've only tested sms/emails. Doesn't seem to work for contacts and calendars as the author claims. :roll:
