Adding mpeg's

I have just brought an spv and hooked it up to my computer. I am trying to drop mpegs onto the smartphone folder but it is not copying anything onto my phone! Does anyone know how you do this. Does the specific file ie windows media player need to be open or can i just drop it on the smartphone icon???

I realy want to start watching mpegs but am very frustrated, any help would be greatly appreciated

When you sync your phone try clicking explore.

Then double click smartphone.

Then drop your MPEGS into storage card or IPSM, (recommend storage card as these will fill up your phone)

You can then play them using media player

Erm - You can't play MPEGs using media player.

What you need is movie player like PocketMVP or the pocket tv thing. To install these you need to have your phone decertified. Funnily enough, you can find instructions to do this as well as the software on this site. Incidentally the only kind of video file you can watch on the media player are wmv's

Sorry I should have read your post more clearly.

I thought you wanted to listen to music mpegs.

Simon is right you need an application to watch videos.

I use pocket TV

We strongly recommend to store the MPEG files on a Storage Card because of the limited memory in the Smartphone.
