Reading e-mails with SPV

Since purchasing an SPV I have been unable to read e-mails useing GPRS. I use Outlook Express 6 and BT for access. The phone attempts to pick up the e-mail and then shows the following message 'Error - message could not be downloaded as POP 3 Server does not provide a unique identifier with each message' Amy help would be appreciated.

What settings are you using for sending and reveiving emails?

Also which provider are the emails from? ie Hotmail account etc

Andrew has since emailed me with the answers to my question above,

Incoming e-mails - pop3.btconnect.com

Outgoing - smtp.orange.net

So the question is, does anyone know if there is a problem with btconnect?

I remember that hotmail and yahoo gave this problem a while back so is this similar?

(sorry but this is one of those areas I'm not too up on)
