Easy way to add +44 to my contacts?

I've just upgraded to an SPV a month or so back but sometimes when I receive a text message it doesn't come up with the name, I just get their number (in +440798xxxxxx) format.

Is this because my numbers are stored on my SIM card as normal 0798xxxx) format or am I doing something wrong?

I'd rather keep my numbers on my SIM if possible incase I want to upgrade to something else.

The phone will show +44 format so the easiest way to change all your numbers is to

have all you contacts in Outlook on your PC then use the Contact Reformatter (click on the highlighted words)

This app changes your contacts to the +44 format

Then all you have to do is to sync with the phone and it's all done :)

(this will place your contacts on the phone but you still keep duplicates on the SIM)
