buying a Smartphone in Canada

Hey everyone.

I'm looking at getting into the Microsoft Mobile development world and am looking around at getting a Windows powered smartphone. The only one I can find to purchase through legal channels is the Smartphone Developer kit offered by Microsoft (includes a red e SC1100 Smartphone).

Anybody have any feedback on this phone? Is it good? Is it worth it? Is there any other smartphones available to be purchased in Canada?

It must be SIM-Unlocked so that I could use my local provider's SIM card.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try sending Monolithix a PM and ask for his advice as he has the Red E phone

Your other option is to buy a secondhand SPVTanager making sure it is unlocked

(if not you can do it yourself fairly easily)
