Call not ending - need to reboot

Does anyone else have this problem? I (not infrequently) i.e. not every call received but quite a few of them.. can't end the call successfully. The other party hangs up - I end the call with the red button and the call timer keep counting. I return to the phone some minutes later to find the call still "in progress" on the home page and when i return to the call the timer is sill going. I can't ring my phone (engaged and diverted to message bank) but the call does not appear to be actually going on. It just will not respond to the end call button or the menu option "end". It's always been a call made from someon TO me not from me, so call charges would not be applying anyway. If I trying to make another call out, I get the "multiple calls active" message. My only recourse is to shutdown and restart.

Anyone get this or know what causes it o how to fix it?
