How much can RAPI do

Has anyone got much experience of RAPI? I was thinking about making an app that sits on your desktop and makes the PC interface with the phone better

Things like:

* When you get a phonecall, a popup appears on the PC (so you can have the phone ringer silent) - perhaps even make the app set the ringer volume to silent for you when you dock the phone

* Dialing performed from the PC (i.e. a window with all your contacts from outlook appears, you select one, and it makes the phone dial)

and anything else I can think of

Is stuff like this possible?

I don't think that it will be easy to do what you want without writing a client ap for the phone that will inform the desktop ap of phone events.
