Hardware Power USB Adaptor Thingy.

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a accessory similar to the power adaptor that changes the connection from the thin plug to the wider rectangular socket

- except instead of going to the thin plug it would go to a female usb socket, so i could download stuff from anywhere onto my usb removable drive and then plug it to my smartphone using the adaptor, and it coming up on the smartphone as another storage card or something?

it would be great for people that use different pcs/travel and dont want to have to bring their cradle and sync software everywhere with them...

just a lil' thought anyhow!

So you mean something that connects to the universal adaptor at the bottom of the phone that lets you connect USB devices to your phone. Primarily a memory stick... I like that idea... wonder if theres anything like that about. The OS would have to support it though.

One thing better than a memory stick to connect into that would be a USB bluetooth dongle :) rar.
