Guest rockdoc Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 Was cruising around in my file explorer on the mitac...currently the phone is using up 6 megs of its available memory (this sucks). I have a 256M SD but wanted to free up some of the main memory. There are a bunch of files under IPSM/Windows which are called: MsgQueueMapFileMicrosoft and MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft. Interestingly enough there are 6 copies of each and they seem to be quite large. Anyone have an idea what these files are? At first glance I thought they were repeats and could be deleated but I'm not that foolhardy. Any ideas out there? Also any suggestions how to free up space? Anything that can be moved from main memory to the SD card? :?:
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 14, 2003 Report Posted August 14, 2003 Delete those files if you want your phone to play up :) The only way to free up sapce is to make sure any apps and games etc get installeed on the SD card. There in not anything on the phone as standard that you can move.
