Travelling to US What settings for network, GPRS etc ?

Hi

I'm off to the New York in January and would like to know which service provider I should set my (UK) SPV to when I arrive in order to be able to use GPRS to remain in touch with my e-mails and get web access whilst I'm there.

Can anybody help ?

No roaming agreements for GPRS yet provided by Orange in the USA. Regularly travel to the East and West Coasts and it's never worked.

In theory one day you will be able to use Cingular, AT&T Wireless or perhaps Voicestream (but that's T Mobile so they might not do a deal).

Thanks for the reply - One more question can you advise on the best service provider to switch to once I get there for normal voice calls ?
