If you installed the cabs...go to programs, settings, remove programs, and remove the the two apps that you installed. You may need to clean up some of the midlet folders that were created as well by using ActiveSync, Explore on your PC.

i just used the two cabs from the mitac. then my smartphone resets and reverts all of my phones' settings to defaults except for my appointments and contact lists. and that's it!

If your phone performed a hard reset as it sounds like it did then you wont be able to uninstall them as they wont be on your phone anymore! As for your contacts and appointments remaining on your phone, they will have been restored via activesync :)

Your phone should be back to its out of the box state so you wont have to uninstall java :o

No what he means is that your phone may have done a partial Hard Reset, basically your phone has lost

some of it's settings and you may need to alter your settings and decert your phone again etc.

so to uninstall the Java you may need to reinstall it first to get the option back in the Remove Programs.

If that's the case then it's not really designed for your phone :), another option

is to do a Hard Reset then try installing them from scratch and see what happens

installing them on a clean phone.
