I'm using Smart Amazing Phone. I believe it is network-locked and application-unlocked but I can't install other apps to my phone. Can anyone help me on this?? Thanks in advance.

I thought the SAP is ment to be decerted as default,

What errors are you getting when you try to install anything?

I found something. When I tried to run a self-installing exe (thru PC-->ActiveSync), necessary files (.cab, etc) are only extracted to IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall. I just run the .cab file from that folder to completely install the application. Is this the normal procedure? Is there something wrong with my smartphone?

What you had is a failed install, when an app fails to install it is left in the Install folder

then you can either delete it or as you did run the install file from there to complete the instalation.

This problem does happen but is not that common.

One rule for installing apps is to make sure you close as many running apps first to free up

the Physical Memory.

Also it's possible that you have been installing certified cab files

and this message can relate to your phone not being decerted.

So the question is...

Have you decerted your phone?
