removing activesync removal menu

Hi all

when I put my phone in the cradle active sync starts to connect, and then I get a removal menu that is much the same as the installation menu for full apps - only it offers the ability to remove installed apps

I've had it in the past and managed to disable it, but can't remember how

can anyone remind me how to do it?
