Mitac 8380 Speakerphone?

I have read the specifications on the 8380 and assumed it supports speakerphone functionality. I have just found a review, however, that says it does not.

Is this review old or is it true the 8380 does not support speakerphone functionality?

I don't know - on an SPV you can activate the speakerphone by holding down the "answer call" button whilst in a call.

Try it on a Mitac and see if it works.

works exactly the same way on the mio 8380. I find it is a bit louder than on the p800. Works quite well to my mind, although the speaker has a slight "tinny" sound to it.
