Guest Terrapin Posted August 17, 2003 Report Posted August 17, 2003 Finally managed to get carphone warehouse in london (covent garden) to price match on the 808, thanks to whoever posted a scan of their reciept! Sorry if this has been asked before but i havent managed to find anything relevant to encoding via the search. I see that the video clips downloaded from three are mp4 (mpeg-4) files, i was just wondering whether it was possible to encode my own videos from my pc to watch on the 808. If so, could someone please point me in the direction of the correct software and compression/encoding settings required to get the video and audio to play on the 808. I'm assuming it's not divx as the divx player refuses to play the mp4s and virtualdub has troubles with reading the audio, let alone telling me how to encode video. Many thanks in advance.
