Playing MP3's

I presume i need to purchase a memory card to be able to do/l mp3's to my SVP as there does not seem to be enough memory at the moment to take even one file? What kind of size card should I buy - f.example, how many mp3's fit per mb card? Phil

I would say 64MB minimum but bigger would be better if you want to fit a few applications and games on there too.

128MB or 256MB would be best!

You can pick up a 256 meg sd card for under £50 from ebay, otherwise you're looking at around £50-£60 so thats your best bet in my opinion...

Check out ebuyer.com, they have some very cheap cards. Be sure to read the user comments though, some of them aren't up to the quality they should be!

and try to avoid kingmax ones

i got a 128mb kingmax one from there, and altho it works fine, the card itself seems quite fragile...and for some reason it sticks out of the phone a fraction more than other cards...so a little annoying

There was a batch of memory cards for sale on e-bay I think that had a few problems, Losing information etc.

So before buying do a search MoDaCo to find out which make.

If I find it, I will post.

Just as a guide, can someone tell me how many mp3's (roughly) you'll get on a card - like 64mg for example?

Depends on the length, compression and quality used but you could convert them into wma format to make them

even smaller.

As for size you are looking at between 2-4MB per track so you can get a couple of albums on if you're lucky :)
