How to SIM UNLOCK an 100 without downgrading AND Dutch ROM?

Hello!

I have a SPV E100 with a DUTCH 1.50 ROM.

It's not possible to downgrade to 1.37 UK (my Dutch ROM says that's

that not possible)....

So how can I sim unlock this Dutch version ?

It is possible to downgrade, you must do it in when the phone is in the Canary screen.

The only other way is to ask your service provider to unlock the phone for you and this will

normally cost.

I did this, but then he says that he wont install a UK version ...

When downgrading from the Canary screen it should work as I know

of another Dutch member who downgraded yesterday doing exactly what

I posted above.

Sorry, you're right (I did it wrong). I just downgraded my e100... he's now rebooting. Then I run the unlock.exe

Can I after that install the Dutch upgrade to 1.50 without loosing my sim unlock ?

Yes once it is SIM unlocked it will stay that way :)

He's now in the Orange start up screen ... it could take 10 to 30 minutes I read ??

So leave it that long and see what happens, but try the 1.5 update as a last resort

as you still need to SIM unlock.
