NEW: Mitac Mio 8380 cannot install some signed applications

This bug has been confirmed by engineers from Mitac.

The Mitac Mio 8380 refuses to install many applications that are properly signed and should install on all locked and un-locked Smartphones.

The root cause of the problem is yet unknown. Mitac engineers are aware of the problem (that affects about half of the signed smartphone applications), and they have contacted Microsoft about the issue.

That's all we know at that point.
