Excuse my ignorance but is t possible to use the SPV on T-mobile for WAP surfing over a non-GPRS connection (as in w/out being charged for the amount of data sent but instead via a standard call charge [which is part of a monthly allowance]. I cant find any non-GPRS (i.e. conventional phone numbers) on the forum for uk T-mobile WAP so maybe I'm being dense (probably in fact). I'm also not clear on how i would enter these settings -- is there a good FAQ on this? (I'm assuming it is via the 'Data Connections' applet??)

Apologies for being clueless. Think I might get to love this spv though...

Oh, and while I'm being annoying, can someone explain why it is called 'Radio Off/On' in the Action menu and is that really just toggling the Phone's ability to send/receive network signal/calls???

For T-Mobile settings click on GPRSWAP MMS Settings repository

As for Radio offon it's called that because you are toggling the phones radio signal ie network signal reception

you basically answered your own question except you were thinking on the lines of FM radio etc :)
