Zone-Application

Greets,

I'm currently about writing an application for MS Smartphone to visualize weather you are in a specific zone (refering to the zone data stored on a sim card). Calculation is no prob, but i'm currently facing to other probs...

First: I need to you read the zone data from the inserted sim to avoid the user from having to manually enter the zone data to his phone. Is there any kind of phone api to read the CI, RA and LSSI field from sim cards?? Please look also at SIMspy for a desktop application doing the same...

Second: I also need to retrieve a cell broadcast from a specific channel (221)... Is there a phone api call to retrieve those broadcast messages indipendent from that ms inbox application??
