Guest MECX Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 sorry to bring this up AGAIN but ive found instead of doing a radio on/radio off thing to reset it---if you lock the phone by holding down the red buttonthen unlock again it seems to reset it and the phone dials as normal. Why does locking the phone in that manner close all GPRS traffic?? if you lock by pressing the on button and 'key lock' GPRS stays active.
Guest mark_g_james Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Is it because you are "hanging up" the GPRS call by pressing the red end call button? Does the same work if you don't hold it long enough to lock the key pad? Damned useful info though :)
Guest martin Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I think its because the red button is primarily an end call function to close either a GSM or GPRS call.
Guest MECX Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 only works if you actually lock the keypad. try it the little g leaves whenever you lock the keypad in that way. also if your using messenger it will signs you out. alternativly if you want to keep your gprs active (keep messenger running) while the keys are locked use the other method of locking the keys Posted from my SmartPhone!
