I received my spv e100 phone and havn't a clue how to unlock it to use vodaphone sim card. My Canary screen says v1.00 and i have been told to downgrade this to v0.98 where is this downgrade and how do is use it. Also i do i upgrade back to v1.00 afterwards. I need some major help then i can see what the phone can do.

You ca get the UK update with bootloader V0.98 from www.monolithix.org

Basically you download and run it :) It may be better to run it from the Canary screen though.

To do this all you have to do is Switch the phone off then press and hold the record button then

press the powerbutton, when the phone starts release both buttons and wait, you will be presented with the Canary screen.

If you have problems running the update you may get stuck on the Sunset screen and one way to fix this is to

try a hard reset or try running the update again. If this does not work then you will need to apply a newer

update ie 1.5, problem is it's not readily available.

After downloading to get v0.98 onto fone ran simulock and got code. Coundn,t get past sunset screen when i rebooted phone so downloaded this link

Once installed turned on phone and came up with Eurotel then windows screen appeared enter sim unlock code and phone is now conected through vodaphone. Can't see anything wrong with phone but will have a play and advise any probs.
