Guest martin Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 I would like to thatnk everyone for answering the questions i posted on this site which helped me decide on the phone. You made the right decision Mike :) And you won't even have to application unlock it  Maybe you could post you first impressions after you have played with it a bit.
Guest mike_secco Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 Ive played around with it for a bit now. It took me a while to get used to the controlls and understand what i was doing, but now im used to it. I love the colour screen. I cant wait until i get a sd card so I can play mp3 and movies on it. Everything works well the only problem is that I must have closed solitare down incorrectly and now i cannot get it to open again. How do I install games and other apps onto my phone now? from mike
Guest mike_secco Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 I got the solitare working. I finally thought of restarting the mobile. silly me.
Guest jamesluo Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 is that with chinese version? in the CD, does it have chinese language support software?
Guest Gorskar Posted August 24, 2003 Report Posted August 24, 2003 Welcome aboard mate. 1) Some apps will come as a windows installer, in which case you just run it from windows while the phone is connected to install 2) Other apps will come as CAB files - to install these you can copy them to IPSMwindowsstart menuaccessories, then browse to them on your phone and run the cab file to install 3) Still other apps (mostly freeware ones) will come as an exe to be placed directly on your phone in a location of your chosing (IPSMprogram files or Storage CardProgram files is probably a good choice) Then browse to the file in windows explorer on your PC and create a shortcut to the file and move it to IPSMwindowsstart menu.
