Yep, it's on there. It's in a zip file though, so download, unzip and dump in your start menu folder.

is this a safe program? i've read lots somewhere around other forums that it can do bling-bling to your apps and smartphone.

I used it about 4-5 times .. and on one of the occasions my phone did a partial hard reset, now this could very well just have been an accident, but I didn't find the program good enough to install again... hard reset or not.

When you install applications that modify the registry, the registry is written to RAM for modification, then permanently stored back to ROM when the phone shuts down (hence the long shutdown times).

If you've made any modifications to the registry before "quickresetting" this can corrupt the registry, as it does not have time to fully write back to ROM. As with all versions of windows this will cause the OS to recover it on the next boot. When SmartPhone does this, it recovers the original "hardreset" version of the registry.

So, if you've modified the registry (and you may not even know it) and run quickreset, it can cause your phone to semi-hard reset. Be warned! :)

Sounds like you need to root around the articles section! Hard reset is when you return the phone to the 'out of the box' condition - i.e. you wipe off any programs, messages or anything stored in the IPSM, and the phone is re-locked (if you've unlocked it). A partial hard reset is flippin' bizarre, it restores all the factory defaults and relocks the phone without actually erasing anything first... This means that if you've re-arranged your start menu to put everything into folders you end up with two shortcuts for everything. This is a complete pain, more so than a complete hard reset imo.

Hey thanks for the info. Been browsing the modaco forums 5 hours a day for 3 days now. Just got my phone 5 days ago. And my brain cant cope up with lots of info on tricks and tweaks.

Back to browsing now.
