i'm not familiar with tanager working with palm. but i do know that 10k is way too expensive for a 4 year old palm model especially the palm III! the palm III is a 2nd generation palm pilot, it's not even expandable!

check out this linkpalm IIIxe and i wouldn't even buy that. i should know i've had 2 palms. i lost my last one actually and it triggered my buying the SAP but i'm looking for a good palm pilot right now.

what do you mean by this? Remember, PalmIII runs on Palm OS while your Tanager runs on MS Windows OS.

IMHO, your Tanager can do more than the PalmIII does :) Besides, PalmIII is kinda obsolete now....and yes, 10K is way too expensive for a 4-year old Palm. You better get a Palm Zire.

If you're interested (ehem...shameless plug), Im selling my 1-year old PockctPC2002 (a Windows-powered pda) for only P18K with the foldable keyboard and extra battery. Just PM me ;)

Hmmm... I recently dropped off my HP Jornada 568 PPC2002 at Mobile 1 and I'm selling it for about PhP 8,000.00

Also there are one Stowaway Keyboard at about 3K and a battery booster pack at about 2.5K all for the Jornada 568...

These I know will work well with the Tanager. :-)

Btw, do you mean to say that the stow-away keyboard and battery booster pack can be used for the Tanager?

hotee_male, murang mura na yung Jornada568 ni Carlo...compare doon sa PalmIII...mas powerful pa yun kesa palm

maybe PALM3C yun. Either way, brand new iPAQs can be had for as little as 14k for the entry level. PPC OS and TFT display din.

better get a new one. may warranty pa.

it seems that palms are getting a bad rep on this thread. and no wonder, all of you use pocket pc's and of course the smartphone. but i still am a palm fan. i use it for medical apps as there are more available for the palm OS. feature wise, pocket pc's rule but when it comes to battery life and apps, palm is still very good and handy.

p.s. i don't want to turn this thread into a palm versus pocket pc debate

not really. we're not saying that Palms are bad.

Heck I own and still use a Palm Vx. :)

yeah to each his own... it all depends really on what you need from a PDA, on what you intend to use it for ;)

its just that hottee_male is asking if 10K is worth for an old PalmIII. Its like 10K PalmIII vs. 8K Jornada PPC. If Palm is what he really wants and not a PocketPC, I suggest the latest Palm Zire or the Sony Clie

or hingi pa sya tawad doon sa 10K :)

I have a Cassiopeia E-125 which i bought from the States. It's pretty old when compared to the PPC2002... but when i checked its price from PC shops (even with the exclusive distributor) they're still selling it at ++20K ... any idea how much i should sell it?

Sorry..out of topic. :)
