Where do the .cab files go after install?

i got the lack of space message on my spv today, so i was hunting around the IPSM via activesync explore and i came across this folder; IPSMwindowsappmgrinstall

This folder had all the .CAB files that i had ever installed on my phone. this surprised me as i always put the .cab's on my SD card and installed from there and i thought that the .cab files were deleted after installation.

Is it ok to delete these or are they needed by the programs?

I hope i can as it will free up nearly 4meg. :shock:

Yep, feel free to empty this folde. Leave all the other folder in AppMgr though, as removing them will prevent you from uninstalling them.
