Those are system files that smartphone doesn't allow to be copied to PC. Only way to backup IPSM "officially" (to SD/MM CARD) is either via USB Term or through the bootloader Save IPSM functionality of the new ROMS (like Qtek and Eurotel(?)). You can then use a program called Winhex and an SD/MM card reader/writer to copy the image to PC. This procedure requires you to bridge the image copy through smarthphone-storage card-PC and vice versa. I've had the opportunity to explore winhex and it sees the logical drive of smartphone. Problem is it cannot go beyond "Mobile Device". If only it can read down to the level of "My Smartphone" and folders, it might be able to do the backup of IPSM and/or storage card in hex format directly to PC. I think that's the area that anyone who wants to create an application to backup smartphone storages to PC has to concentrate on. Another application available (don't know if it's legit for non Mitac Mio users) is phonebackup included in its bundled programs. It's able to backup contacts, calendar, task, channels (whatever this means), notes and voicenotes.
