Guest kerpogi Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 How come when the phone is off, the alarm does not sound? does this mean I have to leave it on the whole night if I want it to wake me up in the morning? I don't get it. how come on my nokia or ericsson it works evgen if the phone is off. I'm beginning to think the Smartphone isn't quite smart enough. By the way the pocket pc gizmos are all born with this flaw.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 It's one of those nice SPV features... buy an alarmclock *innocent blink*
Guest Posted August 26, 2003 Report Posted August 26, 2003 It looks like a battery thing - Nokias and Ericsons I would imagine go into a "standby" state when you switch them off, whereas the SPV really does go "off". It's one of those pet hates that we all hope will get fixed in later phones! What I do is leave the phone on charge all night - you can switch the radio part of the phone off if you don't want to be woken by calls and mesages.
