Guest nixy Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I have a spv camera addon that saw the inside of a wet cycle at 40c today. It still works but is totally out of fucus due no doubt to the condensation and water residue. I need help and advice in taking it to bits to clean. Does anyone have any constructive advice. thanks in advance

Guest nixy Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Do u know how to dismantle the actual lens and filter as that part is driving me nuts. I have got it apart to that point and am frightened of scratching the glass. Under the lens I see where the water has got in, but I have no idea how to get inside it to clean it. Thanks
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Just try leaving it in a warm place for a few days. At least it will smell nice now :) sorry had to say it  Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest nixy Posted August 26, 2003 Report Posted August 26, 2003 At least you put a smile on my miserable face this morning after reading it. I will do just that. Its now living at the top of the airing cupboard. I do seem to be having a spate of mishaps of late. Last E100 went swimming in a jug of Orange juice....

Guest nixy Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 Brody........ thanks. I didnt realise and am glad of the info as I often write to quickly for my own good. Can you explain how I use the "delete" option as I have been unable to remove my earlier message that needs to go in the bin. Thanks
