Text messages not showing senders name!!!!!????

Hi all, Could do with a little help, When i receive a text it doesnt always display the senders name, i have +44 in front of the numbers and it still refuses to display it, it displays when they call just not for text.

I did a search on the forum but nothing i found really helped.

Any ideas?

Have you removed all spaces and brackets too?

Hi Mono, yes tried all sorts, still with no joy

I copied all the numbers from my sim onto the phone, and modified them to have +44 and no spaces

Its difficult to test the results as i dont get many texts :cry:

Instead of manually editting them, there is an outlook contact reformatter, available from www.monolithix.org

to test: go onto the orange site (or another free sms via the web portal) and send youself some.. (obviously add your number to your contacts)
