Will cold temperatures affect or damage my phone?

Hi all,

I am going to the snow tomorow and i am just wanting to know if the cold temperatures will affect or damage my new qtek 7070 smartphone. :roll:

I wouldn't say they would. I'm assuming you'll be keeping your phone on your person, and it will therefore be a bit warmer. I wouldn't advise putting it in the freezer though.

Someone got theirs to -5 degrees centigrade to test the themometre :)

I used mine in russia where it was -15C outside, and it worked fine.

Used mine in Moscow/St Petes and it got as low as -20. Worked okay.

Here in Swiss it got to +40 and the phone slowed down sooooooooooooo much it was scary. To test my theory I put it in front of the car's aircon for five minutes and it was real fast again. :shock:

Edit: Forgot to mention, The Palm M500 fails badly at -20. :roll:
