CSD Connection for MObile Data & FAX service

Help anyone? SMART?

How can you use Dial-up Connection for CSD.

On my 9210i nokia i could easily use mobile Data and Fax service to my laptop usin Winfax.

however,when i use smartphone.its useless.

is there any fax modem driver 4 smartphne? configuration?

A dude from SMART advised me about a Smartphone USB MODEM dialer...does anyone know about this?

Sad to say... but I don't think the Smartphone is Fax ready.

If I'm not mistaken, the Tanager uses the same radio stack as the XDA... which means, if you were to use it for faxing, you will beed a special application to make use of its modem for fax use... something they did with KSE Truefax for the MDA and XDA... but so far... no controls nor publicly known AT commands to trigger it yet... of course unless I'm mistaken and somone has already done it with a fax software for the Pocket PC or PC...

Gee thanks --(sigh!) I thought I could make use of this feature.

Guess, ill request for deactivation of this mobile fax service.

How about using Dial-up connections via CSD ?-- have you tried it yet?

Just want to exhaust airtime charges and GPRS charges.
