Help to determine what people are talking about

Hi! i'm new here and i'm kinda having problems on understanding some things:

1)Is the smartphone people are talking about, reffering to the smartphone of microsoft? i know it's the same as SPV i come from the philippines and it's called smart amazing phone.

2)What is that mitac mio thing they're talking about? is it the same as the microsoft powered smartphone?

3)Is the HTC-tanager or tanager the same as the smart amazing phone?

Thank you for the answers, i should have probably made a search on this but i just don't have enough time and resources (cash) to do so, so i'm coming here for help, so i don't get lost on topics that are being disscussed here. Your answers would really help me catch up on discussions. :)

First of all, hello :)

To answer your questions then...

1 - Yes, it's any phone that is running the Microsoft Smartphone OS (previously known as Stinger)

2 - The mitac mio is a phone :wink: and yes, it runs the MS smartphone OS.

3 - From what I've read and understand, yes the SAP is the same as the Tanager phone (aka SPV E100 in the UK) whereas the original SPV is the tanager's predecessor known as a Canary model.
