anyone know how to find out what IP address the phone has?

It's a qtek 7070

go to this website in PIE....it should tell you the phones current IP.

I'm sure there are other websites out there as well....this was first in the list while searching "IP Address" in Google.

That'll only tell you the GPRS gateway IP address unfortunately.

Try a forum search for "hostinfo" in the Software forum.

I guess I could surf to my server as well then tail the accesslog... but that's one hellofa lot of work since I have to access it from a stationary computer, haven't found a ssh client for smartphone yet :/

what exactly do you want to do when you access the phone?

No real reason actually. but it would be an interesting challenge to see if it's possible to make a small webserver for the phone. Yes, I know it's completely obsolete but... :)

There's a PPC verion of apache i think, and ssh is in the works.

Again though, even if you did port a webserver to SmartPhone, it would only be accessable within the operators GPRS network.

That's not to say i'm not interested, btw... :)

True, might be different in the swedish operator's networks though, they seem to have public ip:s for their connections! Will have to investigate that further though...
