Guest grifter Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 32k? that's kinda expensive. i'd rather get a p800 at 30k. :)
Guest mar9118 Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Dino: I can get it direct from Taiwan and sell it for P 28,500.00 anyone interested? I was the first one to have a Mio 8380 in the Philippines because I ask my Taiwanese supplier to line up and get me 2 units when it first came out in Taiwan, one went to a friend in Germany, but I sold mine to a German also because of the Application lock problem, I am planning to get another one because of the new post that it can now be APPLICATION UNLOCK :) http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=89784
Guest casperr Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 Thats very expensive. 28 or 32k? I think its reasonable price should be 20k or less. But then its pretty new and it's not really being distirbuted by local operators kaya mahal. Wala bang plano smart or globe to get this?
Guest binky_p Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 if there is siguro a big difference between my tanager and the Mitac Mio na yan....pwedeng pang pag icipan.....yung first release price nyang 32K?..mahal...baka after 1-3 months SPAMba na yan... :)
Guest mar9118 Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 You are right the price will always go down, specially once the mio 8390 comes out but of course for people like me who always wants to play with new gadgets, I have to pay the high price :) Updates: The cost of Mitac mio 8380 in Taiwan is now down to NT$ 15,750 from NT$ 16,800 or at today's exchange rate of 1.613 = Php 25,404.75, see I don't make money with the price of Php 28,000 with a cost before of Php 27,098.40 plus freight and tax pa, just want to help those who want it because 32K was really highway robbery :x Just a suggestion don't buy yet, the mio 8390 will be out soon ;)
Guest elr Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 Sige Mar, hintayin ko yung mio 8390... pwede rin ba sayo pakuha non? At pwede bang INSTALLMENT??? hehe :)
Guest grifter Posted September 10, 2003 Report Posted September 10, 2003 hopefully it's also application-unlockable. :)

Guest dinoalbert Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 read mar9118's post above.....he was able to bring in the Mitac even before nagkaroon ng ganito sa mga local shops.....he can sell it for P28K
Guest casperr Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 wala bang update? magkano na kaya to? less than 20k na kaya?
Guest mar9118 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 @casperr, So far the price of Mio 8380 did not change, still HKD 3,620.00 in Hong Kong (about Php 26,064.00) tumaas pa nga eh, blame it to our politics which brought the peso pass the 56/USD mark :) I can also get the Mio 8390 now direct from Taiwan for about 28K pesos plus freight, but am not advising anyone to buy it kasi it's not worth it, I got one last month and sold it to someone in Switzerland after 2 weeks
