Guest antz Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 This has probably been asked before, if so, could someone please post a link to the thread, but I searched and couldn't find one that's relevant. I've been really silly, since theres no Orange in Ukraine I have to use a Ukranian simcard whilst here, and I was drunk, and so dont recall mum asking me for the simcard and me changing it to my Orange one. So, when I woke up in the morning I tried turning the phone on, and it asked for a PIN. I entered the Ukranian PIN 3 times without even suspecting it could be my Orange one. Well, my phone now works with ALL simcards apart from the one I want it to work with. Which file do I change/delete to get rid of that? My SPV is currently in offline mode and the SIM module isnt loaded so I have full access to the filesystem. There isnt an orange shop to take it to for a thousand of kilometers around here... Antz
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 If you've locked yourself out of your Orange SIM its the actual SIM card thats locked, and nothing to do with the phone. The only way to unlock it is to call Orange and request a PUK code to remove the SIM lock.
