IPSM / SD question

ei guys... sorry if this has been posted before.. couldnt find the answer in the search.

anyways. my question is in regards to installing apps/games on sd cards.

i haven't got an sd card yet, but soon probably and i have this lingering question, a wondering you might say, that if it is possible to install games and applications to the card as like what we do normally to the phone memory (ipsm)? would this be easy?

i have plans of (once sd card is here already) transferring/reinstalling some of the games/apps to the card to free up some of the phone memory (which now has only like 920k).. or do you suggest that i keep it as is and install the next app/game on the sd card? is 920k enough for the phone to perform well?

welcome to modaco doc.

yes, it's possible to possible to place any and all programs to an sd card. when i got my sd card, i uninstalled my programs and reinstalled them to my phone. i even saved my pics to my card. it doesn't slow down the programs, in fact, i've noticed that ia album can browse through the files faster in my 512 mb sd card (data transfer speed is suppose to be 10 mbps) than when files are stored in ipsm. 912 kb free space shouldn't slow down the phone.

Yes

Ummm no guarantee kasi phone ko nag-hang dati with just 900k left. Thereafter, I make sure meron akong >1Mb IPSM space/phone memory. Remember, SMS and even program shortcuts takes substantial IPSM space.
