SD Card Problem

Hi, Recently I tried to format my Orange 8MB card that I received with my phone using the SP Task Manager. I received the message "Error while formatting the card!" :cry:

Is there another way to format the card or can I just sync the phone and delete all the items on the card ?

Any help would be appreciated.

has it got the lock protection switched on, on the card?

delete all the contents of your sd card using a computer.then try formatting it using task manager.that's what i did before.that should work on yours too.

I managed to delete all the items and it formatted 1st time
