HI guys

im having a bad day with having to go into town and to tax the car (post office based shudder/Milton kenya car park loving) and this:

I had an interesting problem with the spv-o-love yesterday

i could send text's, make gprs calls first time every time ( the phone must be faulty for that to happen :) ) recive voice calls ok but not make any voice calls.

spoke to orange care, told the normal stuff, we must email the techincal team, i hint at me phones buggered give me a replacement to no avail, think fine sod em' then drink some beer and powercycle my phone, boots up and as if by magic 'NO SERVICE', drink a little more and hard reset the phone and it works again, phone orange and tell them it's still not right and do some drinking and sleeping. same thing happend today with the call thing, and now i have the lovely orange sunset on my smart-paperweight.

it is being replaced, which took 2 calls to get them to aggree to the [insert expletive here] ( first one is a 'turn it off and charge it for ten minuites and try again' and the second one 'oh it sounds borken, we can send a replacement out, please hold for bloody ages as i chat to my mates'.

and to cap it off. my visual studio / embeded visual C keeps crashing. so i have to spend some time downstairs and spend quality time with the missus, bugger........ ;)

Hours of fun !!!

i think i need the special kinda drunk (hammered and bouncy) you get with 'skittlevodka' tm (2 large bags of skittles (remove green and purple) add to 1 bottle of vodka, allow to desolve overnight somewhere warm, filter with coffee filter stuff, store in cold thing in kitchen for a few days, add to glass, mix with lemonade and ice to taste)

later (too my liver at least :) )

Back on topic, I've also seen similar problems today. Phone had dead battery in morning, despite having high-charge earlier. On switching it on (while on craddle), phone went straight to "no service". Switched the radio off then on, and some process on the phone went to 100% CPU (explaining the dead battery), making the phone unusable. Had to yank battery and rebooted, same again. Left it to charge for a while & then powered up running on batteries and it seems fine now.

It was my second spv to get stuck with a no service message. but its possibly due to the lets flash with this and then flash with that, restore this whoops forgot to backup that before hand, Arse !!!

I think im special and can break phone on command :).

my new replacement did show up today (13:14 which is close to 900 - 1300), but the little bugger won't unlock, and dataservices have been pants today.

i emailed the blighters to get them to unlock and i got this (stupid monkey mail servers)
