OTA Decert / Old hard reset method thoughts?

I happily de-certed back in Feb using the hard reset method. I'd only had the SPV for a few weeks so didn't loose much. Since then I've not hard receted and have lots of texts that I'd like to keep.

I installed the updated (from Orange Update on the phone) for the keyboard drivers. I haven't lost anything, just the phone is now re-certed.

No problem I thought I'd just use the OTA method, but even though my EMEI number is registered, and whether I use Action Register or not I get the message on the website saying in 5 mins I'll receive notification that the phone is unlocked but to no avail.

I've made sure I was in a good coverage area after trying, and attempted to make GPRS connections, and they worke ok, but still now days later after about 5-7 attempts all supposedly successful its not worked.

Since the OTA decert doesn't seem to be working, can anyone confirm that the old method, and possibly sing the Autodecerter v3 would work?

What files do I need to copy off the SPV and then back onto it to keep my texts etc. I can happily copy back the settings, and sounds etc that are on the IPSM but I am about to get the keyboard tomorrow, and most of the apps on my phone won't work. I have lots of texts from the gf I'd like to keep, (I'm sure you understand!)

Please help me. I know your a good lot out there, Oh an please can I have an SPV2... Drool.....! Many thanks

Orange obviously heard my thoughts, I jsut tried it now, and it de-certed in about 20 seconds. Great, why didn't that work on Thursday?!

Still never mind, I'm just glad to have all my apps back, I aws lost without taksmanager!

It's a crap-shoot sometimes. I have the same inconsistency at times...but it always ends up working. Even here in the US.
