Guest sinski Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 When using Home Screen: Orange Layout 2 (and a few others) and when you have a message (old or new) in your Inbox, try this: From the home screen, use the up/down keys to navigate to SMS(0) MMS(0) EMAIL(0) and when selected, click to open. The Inbox correctly opens. Open a message by clicking it. The message correctly opens. Hit the back key once. The Inbox is shown for a fraction of a second and then you are dumped back to the home screen. Some other home screens do not do this. Selecting Inbox from programs works correctly, returning you to the Inbox having read a message.
Guest amo Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 Are you sure its the home screen doing this and not other applications you might have running in the background (knowingly or not). Try closing everything with xbar (find it in the software section, you will need a decerted phone first) and then try repeating the process. Then change the skin, close all apps again manually with xbar and then see if the problem reoccurs.
Guest one.ear Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 I've had the same problem using that layout, and have task managered all other app's etc. Still no joy. Ho hum. Ben
Guest Richie M Posted October 2, 2003 Report Posted October 2, 2003 Right just tested this on my E100. And it works fine, i would imagine your "bug" is down to your keys multipress time out setting and holding the key too long :?
Guest rikconaghan Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 i have had the same problem too!! will try the multipress thingy see how i get on!!
Guest JoelRae Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I briefly had this problem but it seemed to fix itself, maybe after a power cycle
