New to the world of SPV

Hello all, just got an SPV E100, it still has the previous owners contacts in it, how can I delete these all at once without having to go through each one seperately ? I've tried to do a hard reset but the screen just goes white and remains that way, no menu comes up.

Also is there a way of getting rid of the orange startup screen ?

If you get a white screen do you have the Plastic protective card in the SD slot?

If so remove it.

As the phone is secondhand I would suggest you perform a hard reset to remove any clutter from the

previous owner.

As for the Startup screen It's on ROM so you will not be able to get rid of it.

That worked a treat, thanks a million. Decerted and all, no problems !!

But on to another question !!!

I want to create a dial-up connection to my work network, which will then allow me to access internet, it's a free phone number so it works out better than GPRS and I wont be doing much on the net.

I've tried a few connections but they all result in "unable to place call" when I try to access a site. I click the link and it says "dialing..." then the error.

So where am I going wrong ? Here is an example of my details, obviously not the real ones !!!

Work phone number : 1800123456 (no area code needed)

user name:gav

Password: password

domain: dom-ire

How should I set it up ?

I'm not sure to be honest as I've never used the phonbe as a dailup modem.

don't forget a freephone number will still normally cost £0.10 a minute when

dialed from a mobile.
