I have no idea mate, it's the one from the 'free' downloads webpage suggested in the 'first 24hrs with your SPV' thread???

This is sort of linked with my previous post on this same page, my current phone info is:

If it's the update from www.monolithix.org then yes you should update as you are running an

older version on your phone.

this will take you up to 1.3.5.6 Hopefully soon though the 1.6 update will arrive which is much better again :)

just one thing, i've got it on my laptop ready to go. How do i actually install it (i've got activesync on the old laptop and the phones in it's cradle) :?:

To install the update just place the phone in the cradle and start the update, it's that easy :)

I normally run updates from the Canary screen though as I always find it easier.

To get to the Canary screen power off the phone then press and hold the record button then press the

power button. When the phone starts up release the keys and wait, now you will see the Canary screen.
